• Putnam County Craft Beer Festival 2019 - Sleepy Hollow Golf & Country Club, 3780 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Hurricane, WV
  The Putnam County Craft Beer Festival is quite an event, and it takes place on October 19 this year from noon until 5 p.m. Patrons will be treated to an afternoon of live music, food trucks, and other vendors, arts and crafts, and, of course, craft beers. The festival will feature a vast selection of craft beers from around West Virginia and surrounding regions.

• Putnam County Farmers Market - 127 Valley Park Drive, Hurricane, WV
  The Putnam County Farmers Market is open every Saturday from May through October. Patrons will find a lovely array of vendors from the local area selling all sorts of goods, including farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, local honey, eggs, and meats, along with a selection of handmade items, such as jewelry, home-baked goods, and much more. There's something for everyone at this farmers market.

• Murder Mystery Farm-to-Table Dinner - Hidden Creek Mercantile and The Copper Room, 2803 Main St., Hurricane, WV
  This event is happening on October 30, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Patrons will dress up in their best Halloween costumes to enjoy a delicious farm-to-table meal and the evening's festivities, which include solving a Halloween murder mystery, costume contests, and candy apples.

• Putnam County Bridal Expo - Valley Park Conference Center, 1 Valley Park Road, Hurricane, WV
  Whether you're looking forward to a wedding in your near future or just enjoy all the trappings of them, the Putnam Bridal Expo is can't miss event. Along with a great selection of vendors, the expo will feature activities, such as a cake dive, bridal dance-off, a wall of prizes, and a scavenger hunt.

• Villains in the Valley - Character Trick-or-Treat - Valley Park, Valley Park Drive, Hurricane, WV
  Villains in the Valley is a character Trick-or-Treat event that takes place on October 25, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Patrons can join their favorite characters on the Trick-or-Treat Trail to celebrate the holiday, including villains, heroes, and fairytale princesses, with more than 20 characters joining the Halloween fun. There will also be a showing of the movie "Hocus Pocus" at 7:30 pm, and a range of other activities and special guests throughout the event. Vendors will also be onsite for shopping fun.
