Spring is the time of rebirth...and there's nothing better than bringing your home back to life through easy, inexpensive concepts. Why else do you think they call it spring cleaning? It doesn't matter if you are applying a fresh coat of paint, cleaning out the garage or picking a new candle scent – you will be amazed at the difference it can make and here are some quick and easy ideas.

Windows. Yes, we all clean the windows. But ALL of them? Think about those windows upstairs or in that back room that not one goes into. Take an hour and wipe all of those down. Let the sun shine in and show off that beautiful spring sunshine. Even the darkest and quietest of rooms can benefit from a little sunshine.

Take measurements of closets and storage space and figure out what size and shape containers would best utilize the space. An added bonus? Having children help. Giving them specific tasks and showing them how the storage containers can stack and fit gives them the opportunity to participate.

Say Goodbye. One of the hardest tasks is to say goodbye to that sweatshirt that has been worn for the past 20 years. The ratty, nasty stuffed bear. The blankets, toys and other items that serve no purpose in the house anymore. However, spring is the time of rebirth and it is during this time we say goodbye to the old to make room for the new. Take a day and dedicate it to appreciating the clutter and why it's there but at the same time realizing it is time to let it go. This can be extremely difficult for little ones but if they do participate it makes all the difference. Letting go can actually
